Dabo asks:
this is less an ask and more an objection, but if that's alright, I object to shoes being foot hats. I feel like shoes are more feet jackets? I feel like they're more about protection and the fact that they are on the bottom of the feet, while feet do have tops. I think the only shoes that should count as hats are the boots with like, a big really puffy ball on top of the tip of each shoe. Besides that, I think we should indeed invent foot hats, and that they could probably go on top of shoes? Maybe shoes could be built with a gap at the bottom so the hat could be strapped on without having to step on the strap.

I stand corrected on point 2—Dabo is right when they say shoes are more like feet jackets and with their suggestion on how to make the true foot hat. I almost want to say spats might count but that's more a thing for the shoe than the foot.

I remain correct on point 1 and especially for 3.
