many reasons it would be nice to have comments here but one reason in particular right here right now is because i want to know: what is the highest floor of a building that you have ever been on? if it is the top floor of a skyscraper and... then what is the second highest floor. or, alternatively, the highest floor of a building you have been on for a reason that is not "going to a high floor in a building".
i am not entirely sure of my answer but i am pretty sure it's less that 20.
I lived on the 9th floor once and it was in a building that constantly had problems with its fire alarm so several times a week I would need to take the stairs down. I did not enjoy being that high up. I have also lived on the 5th and 6th floor of buildings and those were both fine.
The highest I've ever been up (that I remember. Maybe my family went to the top of the Sears Tower on vacation or something) is watching fireworks on the roof of a building in the village that wikipedia is telling me is 38 stories tall. That was kind of cool.
Anyway, I think the limit should be somewhere between 10 and 50 stories
